SATS Pricing in 2026: What You Actually Pay
SATS has three tiers. Basic at 839 NOK/month in Oslo locks you to one chosen club. Flexible at 849 NOK/month covers every club in Oslo and Akershus, and since the gap is only ten kroner a month, Flexible is the obvious choice for almost everyone. Premium at 999 NOK/month adds every Nordic club, useful mainly if you train in more than one city.
What you pay on top of the monthly price: SATS publishes no fixed enrollment fee, and in the campaign running in July 2026 they stated free enrollment. The amount varies with the campaign, so it is worth calling your nearest club to ask what applies right now. Also remember the 12-month commitment after the free period, which matters more to the total cost than the joining fee.
On binding periods: SATS now offers a month-to-month contract as standard - you can cancel with 1-month notice at any time. 12-month binding contracts exist and typically cost 50–100 NOK/month less, but most people decline. Never accept a binding contract unless the discount is large enough to justify it.

The flagship center in Oslo. Sauna (no pool, the pool is at Røabadet). Largest equipment selection, most group classes. Best for premium experience, but also busiest at peak hours.
Large, well-equipped center. Less crowded than Bislett/Colosseum. Strong choice for those who work or study in Nydalen.

Join in January or August
These are the chain's two biggest sales periods - enrollment fees are frequently waived, and often 1–2 free months are given. Watch sats.no during these periods to start without paying the startup cost.
Always ask for student pricing
The student discount is not applied automatically, you must request it and show a student card. If you are a student over 18, always ask. 20 percent off 849 NOK is around 2,040 NOK saved a year.
Say no to binding
Unless the discount for 12-month binding is more than 100 NOK/month, take the month-to-month contract. The flexibility to cancel with 1-month notice is worth more than the small saving.
Choose the right tier from the start
