The price is set per club and calculated at checkout, so the figures above are for Oslo. Bergen is 789, 799 and 999 NOK, Stavanger 749, 799 and 999 NOK and Tromsø 699, 749 and 999 NOK. SATS has no clubs in Trondheim at all. The contract runs 12 months after the free period on every tier, so check which classes and clubs your tier actually covers before you commit.
The selection varies from club to club. The schedule for your club is in the SATS app and on sats.no. SATS runs no aqua classes in Oslo, since no SATS club in Norway has a pool.
SATS has 32 clubs in Oslo. These are verified against sats.no, with sauna status. SATS Metro is in Lørenskog rather than Oslo.

SATS sells three memberships: Basic, Flexible and Premium. In Oslo they are 839, 849 and 999 NOK/month respectively. SATS publishes no single price list and calculates the price at checkout once you have picked a club, and that is where the classes and the number of clubs each tier covers are shown. Check it for the tier you are considering on sats.no before you sign, since the terms are not identical across tiers.
The programme covers cardio (spinning, HIIT, BodyCombat, Zumba, step), strength and functional training (BodyPump, kettlebell, core, TRX), mind and body (several forms of yoga, pilates, mobility) and dance and combat (boxing, kickboxing, BodyJam). The selection varies by club. The schedule for your club is in the SATS app and on sats.no.
Yes, you can book most group classes through the SATS app or website. Popular classes like yoga and spinning at large centres often fill up quickly. Book at least 24 hours in advance for popular time slots, especially morning sessions and evenings 17-19.
SATS has 32 clubs in Oslo and 78 in Norway. A sauna is confirmed at 15 clubs, among them Colosseum, Bislett, Storo and Solli Plass. SATS Nydalen has no sauna. Note that SATS Metro is in Lørenskog rather than Oslo, and that there is no SATS club called Majorstuen. The full club in that area is SATS Colosseum at Middelthunsgate 19. SATS Yoga Majorstuen is a yoga studio, not a gym.
Friskis & Svettis is the cheapest for group classes, from 249 NOK/month, but has few Oslo locations. SATS is 839 NOK/month for Basic in Oslo and gives a broader class programme, 32 clubs in the city and a sauna at 15 of them. Neither chain is open around the clock. Choose Friskis for the lowest price, SATS for breadth and facilities.
These are the three memberships SATS actually sells. In Oslo Basic is 839 NOK/month, Flexible 849 NOK/month and Premium 999 NOK/month. Premium covers SATS centres across the Nordics. Prices are set per club, so Bergen (789/799/999), Stavanger (749/799/999) and Tromsø (699/749/999) sit lower. Every tier carries a 12-month contract after the free period.
PT sessions and some workshops cost extra on top of the membership. Which classes are included varies between tiers and between clubs, so check the SATS app or sats.no for your club before signing up at a particular tier.
Yes. SATS offers many classes labelled for beginners and for all levels. BodyPump, basic yoga (Hatha or Yin) and introductory HIIT are good starting points. Instruction is given during the class, and you can always take a lower intensity than more experienced participants.
