Oslo municipality is keeping Frognerbadet closed to the public while the works are under way, from summer 2025 through the end of 2027. The bath reopens for the 2028 summer season. Frognerbadet is an outdoor bath, with two 50 m outdoor pools and a diving tower with 1, 3, 5, 7 and 10 m platforms. It has no indoor pool.

Outdoor Bathing in Oslo (Summer)
The Oslo Fjord and the lakes around the city are good options in summer, and the bathing spots themselves cost nothing.

SATS Røa has no pool. The club lists a sauna, but no swimming hall. Røabadet in the same neighbourhood is a separate badeland run independently of SATS, with a 25 m pool, a children's pool, a whirlpool, a 56 m slide and a Finnish sauna. Røabadet is for members only. It does not sell drop-in tickets and publishes no prices, so you have to contact the facility directly. If you simply want to swim, a single ticket at a municipal pool for 175 NOK is the easiest route.
