Entry transfers and deferrals

What distances are available?
Oslo Marathon 2026 offers four distances: Full Marathon (42.195km), Half Marathon (21.1km), 10K, and 5K. All distances start from Oslo Spektrum. Marathon and half marathon start at 09:00–09:15, 10K at approximately 09:30, and 5K at approximately 10:00. For beginners, the half marathon or 10K is recommended.
Do I need a qualifying time to enter?
No — Oslo Marathon is open to everyone. There is no qualifying time to enter. The only requirement is the on-course cut-off time: 6 hours for the full marathon (approximately 8:30 min/km), and 3 hours for the half marathon. Runners who exceed these limits may be collected by safety personnel. It is important to have trained sufficiently to finish within the cut-off.
